Dennis Waltman, M.D. — Ophthalmologist

     Dr. Waltman is a general ophthalmologist who focuses on medical eye disease. Born in Denver, Colorado and raised in Richland, Washington, he studied at Washington State University, earning degrees in English and Zoology. After receiving his M.D. at the University of Washington, he interned at Stanford before completing his ophthalmology residency training at Louisiana State University in New Orleans.

Dr. Waltman completed two fellowships thereafter. The first was at Harvard University in External Eye Disease, and the second was in vitreo-retinal pathology.
     Dr. Waltman returned to New Orleans as a clinical instructor at Louisiana State University and later at Ft. Leonard Wood Army Hospital in Missouri. He then launched is first office in his home state, in Bellevue, until he joined Eye Associates Northwest and Pacific EyeCare.


    Dr. Waltman and his wife Cindy have five children. Dr. Waltman enjoys hiking, sailing, old time radio and book stores.
